Congratulations to Dane Valley Community Hydro for successfully raising the capital they need from their share offer to construct a hydro scheme on Congleton Weir. The share offer raised £703,000 enabling them to move forward to the construction phase.
Work is due to start on site on 31st July, with a target commissioning date of January 2021. Watch out for progress reports on their website at www.congletonhydro.co.uk
