Our company started off with very little knowledge of the renewable industry – we now have two excellent hydroelectric schemes that could not have been built without the professional input from Sharenergy.
Sharenergy would be at every meeting in our early days to guide us through the process from setting up a company to detailed help with finances, Ofgem, accounts, share offer documents, advertising and even setting up our website. The staff provide timely, efficient answers on a myriad of problems we encountered – in fact I don’t think they ever failed to answer any of my sometimes quite complex questions. In short I would advise anyone not to start a renewable project without them.

Brighton Energy Co-op outsourced our administration to Sharenergy in April 2017 and it would be true to say that is has had a transformational effect on our operations. We have been able to focus on the strategic and business development side of installing new solar arrays and be assured that the administration and back office functions that were beginning to overwhelm us had been taken on by an organisation that had the expertise and professional approach to carry them out diligently. All in all a great decision although we probably should have done it 2 years earlier!

They have been helping us since we established Dingwall Wind Co-op in 2013 and a lot of the success of our wind co-op is down to Sharenergy’s knowledgeable and helpful team. The wind co-op was so successful that it inspired some of our group to set up Scotland’s first community owned whisky-distillery.
