The share offer for Grannell Community Energy is still open for applications – it’s due to close on 14th December. If you apply before the end of November, you will be entered into a competition to win £250 of free shares. This new society will be putting up a refurbished Enercon 500kW turbine near Lampeter in Wales, and are projecting a 5% return on their shares. At the same time The Small Wind Co-op is offering 3% free bonds up to a maximum of 30 for the next 15 or so applicants to its new bond offer. they are raising funds to buy an operational turbine in England to add to the 3 they already own in Scotland and Wales- for all the details see their website.
