We’re delighted to say that Wedmore Community Solar , Dingwall Wind Co-op and Llangattock Green Valleys Hydro share offers are all complete – that’s well over £2m subscribed for community shares! JCC Community Woodheat still has 7 days to run and is at 72%.
We’re busy working on the next crop – several solar projects on roofs and in fields, lots of projects funded by RCEF, a bid for the new mentoring fund, hydro for Bury with Bee Sustainable, and some interesting demand-side work for the local grids of the future. Plus of course our existing projects in development – Crida Wind, Ludlow Hydro, working with Cwm Harry on Ludlow AD, the ‘sun of’ Leominster Solar and many more. All driven by committed volunteers who understand why renewable energy is important and want to own and run it it themselves.
