Woolhope Dome Community Wood-Fuel Project is a collaboration between Fownhope and District Carbon Reduction Action Group(CRAG) and Sharenergy, part of Energy4All, the UK’s foremost enabler of community owned renewable energy.

We are aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by installing wood fuel boilers in a number of homes and organisations – and then supply local wood fuel to these homes and organisations on a regular basis.

The Woolhope Dome Community Wood-Fuel Project will be the first of its kind in the country. We will set up a Co-operative to involve the local community and to provide the capital to purchase the boilers.
