Congleton Hydro is a 65kW hydro scheme in Cheshire which is one of the last in the UK to benefit from the Feed-in Tariff.

Congleton Hydro is a 65kW hydro scheme at Havannah Weir on the River Dane just north of Congleton, Cheshire. The project has been developed by Dane Valley Community Energy over five years of hard work, and was one of the last projects to lock in a Feed-in tariff in the UK. Much of the energy from the hydro is sold direct to a nearby factory.
