As the dust settles over the climate change debate we’re left in no doubt that we need to do a few important things:

• reduce the energy we use
• use energy more sensibly
• generate energy more sensibly

At Energy4All we concentrate on the third while always bearing the first two in mind. In practice, although there are many forms of renewable energy, there are four which are applicable to the UK in general and the Zone in particular. They are:

• Wind power
• Hydro power
• Biomass
• Biogas

Tidal power has excellent potential but around here we’re around 400 million years too late …or a few hundred years too early if sea level change takes hold!

Over the coming weeks we will be adding to this website with detail about each technology,  where and how it can be used and how it can be developed as a community-owned project.
