We’ve heard from Malvern Community Energy Co-op, that their 30kW solar array at the Malvern Cube been installed and electricity is now being generated. This is a group that we supported to develop their project from conception, primarily through funding from the Co-operative Enterprise Hub (that is now unfortunately dormant). They are keen to thank everyone involved and celebrate. So you are invited to their ‘Grand Switch On’ Party. Refreshments and bubbly provided – so here’s to the ‘Grand Switch On’ and congratulations to the group for sticking with it and overcoming many hurdles!
It’s being held on Friday 26th September 6pm at the Malvern Cube, Albert Road North, Malvern, WR14 2YF
The group hopes this will be the first site of many for community energy in the Malvern area and are actively looking for more sites.
