Welcome to Sharenergy. Sharenergy is a not-for-profit organisation which helps communities find, build and own renewable energy generation: we are currently working with hydro power, wind, biomass, biogas and solar projects from our base in the Marches and throughout the UK.

If you’ve ever looked at an old weir and wondered if it could be used to generate electricity, or thought about using food waste to make biogas, we want to hear from you! You could:

• be involved in running your local green electricity generation plant
• invest some money and get a decent return
• provide an energy generation site and earn rent
